Your boredom is not your mom or dad's problem. If you're bored it's because you're boring. But that's not you.
Have you ever heard a truly interesting person complain of boredom? They might... but they immediately invent ways to create the fun they want to have.
I guess the other option is to have a list of chores to do if you ever say, "I'm bored." Nah. Fun is, well, more fun.
If you love puppies and your family, you must do this. Stop ruining the world with hate by doing this one simple thing.
Mandatory Dance Break
We have a rule in our house. It's the "Mandatory Dance Break" rule. When things are too serious or boring any person can yell, "Mandatory Dance Break" and everyone has to stop and dance to a song that person chooses. We crank it up and dance. Everyone must to do it. It's mandatory! Rules: No one can call for more than 2 dances each day and the song must be less than 4 minutes. It has to be super loud. Like really loud.
I wish I had this rule when your moms were little, but hey, we have it now. The next time everyone has their heads buried in their cell phones, call for a "Mandatory Dance Break!"

Tree shopping
We went shopping for a Christmas tree and it looks like I buy trees at the same place this famous person buys his. Yeah... it's a famous actor who lives nearby.

So I took one of my longest beard hairs out and put it deep inside the tree. Now my beard is spending Christmas at his house! That's super awesome. Merry Christmas to my beard.

You don't even need to say anything important or earth shattering. Just saying "hello" is sufficient. Is there any advantage to being the favorite? Maybe. Maybe not. Who cares? We're family and we promote one another.
